Description * operates In Canada Protection Services: provides information and advocacy services for refugee claimants whose status in Canada is "at risk";
* operates Life Skills Trainers: Teaches basic Canadian living skills to refugees and refugee claimants
* operates Reception Program: provides initial housing for refugees and immigrants
* operates Settlement Program: provides orientation and counseling to refugees and immigrants
* operates Sponsorship Program: enables refugees to be sponsored to come to Manitoba, and assists family members to be reunited with relatives overseas; Provides information to church bodies respecting sponsorship;
* operates Volunteer Services: welcomes and assists newly arrived refugees with their settlement and integration needs to adapt to Canadian society
