|Description||Offers preventative and support services to preserve the family unit as well as services to those with disabilities and their families: |
Children's disAbility Services: Supports families of children with a mental or physical disability through individual case planning and respite care.
Child Care: Provides financial aid and program support to day care centres, nursery schools and day care providers. Licenses day care centres and assists families in locating appropriate day care services. Gives subsidies to eligible families.
MarketAbilities Program: Assists people with a physical or learning disability, mental disability or psychiatric disorder to obtain gainful employment. Provides assessment, vocational planning, support and job placement.
Community Living disAbility Services: Promotes independent living in the community for adults with a mental disability through residential options, day programs, respite care and other services.
Employment and Income Assistance: Provides employment and financial assistance to eligible individuals/families in Interlake Region. Ph: 204-785-5106, Fax: 204-785-5321
